Christmas at the Vero!

Restroom at Disney's Vero Beach Resort

Do you like Walt Disney World at Christmas? Well then let’s drive two hours away from there! Welcome to Disney’s Vero Beach Resort!

Hidden Mickey? I’ll call this one an Obvious Mickey

Disney’s Vero Beach Resort – A Disney Vacation Club Resort, or DVBRADVCR for short, is located on the beautiful eastern shore of beautiful Florida approximately two beautiful hours away down beautiful Florida’s Turnpike. It is removed enough from the hustle-bustle of Walt Disney World to be extremely boring relaxing.

Heading through the beautifully decorated lobby, turn left to find the Cannon Room.

I have no idea if it is called that. Let’s call it that.

The restrooms are located on the left here before the next room.

Fancy DVC resorts always have a little napkin pile. Use these to wipe up the wet floor.

This design might make it a little awkward for the guy leaving the stall

The next room, called “The Spa”, is not a spa. It is a room. It has board games, pictures of Walt Disney, and pictures of Walt Disney quotes. “If you can dream it, you can do it” is not found here. But I digress.

Turn right from the lobby and you’ll find Wind & Waves Grill – Market – Bar. They probably have food and drinks. Before happy hour, make sure to use the restroom to wash your hands.

I can only assume the ladies room has those old-timey dress bathing suits

Less awkward stall placement here

Now, let’s head outside to get some of that beautiful Florida sun. How about a dip in the sort-of-Mickey-head-shaped pool?

You tried

Always use the restroom before swimming! Otherwise, you know what will happen. We can’t let that happen. We won’t let that happen. And we can’t let that happen. Anyway, we are about to see perhaps my favorite restroom signage at Disney:

I love when the restroom has a name. “Gonzo’s Royal Flush” is another example

I would rock that bathing suit and hat combo
Disney's Vero Beach Resort
I would say that bloomers are very accommodating to swimming

I even like this old-timey sign. Kinda Boardwalky as well

That’s it. Thank you all for reading. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good vacation!

Merry Christmas! Thanks for Ver(o)ing away from the parks to bring us a new article. Looking forward to the update where you ask the resort CMs whether the Cannon Room name is canonical. 😉
